Dr. Cyril Wecht and Jim Roddey will debate the business of Pittsburgh politics for the launch of the KDKA Business Breakfast Series. The off-air event is planned for Thursday, June 10, at the Rivers Club, One Oxford Center, Downtown. Doors will open at 7:30 a.m. for business networking and a buffet-style breakfast. The program will run from 8 to 9 a.m.

KDKA Morning News host Larry Richert will moderate the discussion with Roddey, a former Allegheny County executive and chair of the Republican Committee of Allegheny County; and Wecht, a former county commissioner and coroner.

Topics will include the November races, business involvement in politics, Pennsylvania’s financial crisis, city-county merger plans, the process of getting a candidate on the ballot as well as various business-to-business topics.

There is a charge to attend. Visit KDKAradio.com or call Anna Fees at (412) 575-2526 for tickets.
