Here is Pittsburgh we have a popular community TIkkun Leil Shavuot to celebrate the holiday.  This year, Shavuot starts Saturday night, May 26th, and Jews around the world will gather for part or all of the night to study Jewish texts and ideas in a festival of study.  Sh'ma magazine is smartly offering a virtual pre-Shavuot Tikkun on-line on Thursday, May 24th, at 8 PM EST.  This is a great way to engage in some contemporary study from your own home or smart phone for a few hours in anticipation of Saturday night or even in place of it should you not be a night owl.  More information on the pre-study can be found here.  Chag Sameach!
